Abstract: How can students responsibly leverage Generative AI to enable innovation both academically and professionally? Generative AI can be a powerful and prompt engineering add-on to help data science students propel their creativity in various ways that kickstart their professional careers and future innovations. This hands-on seminar will explore cross-domain insights, ethical considerations in AI, and validation guard rails.

Speaker Bio:Â Khalil Khouy is a Data Science Manager at Sia Partners with in-depth commercial banking knowledge along with data science & business analytics capabilities for optimizing processes & data storytelling. Khalil completed his DSBA PSM at UNC Charlotte while working at Sia Partners in 2019. He has been with the firm for over 5 years working in the Data Science and Fintech space, and he is currently pursuing his PhD in the Computer Science SIS track at UNC Charlotte.
